The La Porte High School Winter Color Guard placed 6th in the Scholastic Open Class finals competition at the Winter Guard International (WGI) Indianapolis Regional Championship held February 17 and 18 at Warren Central High School. In the preliminary competition the guard placed 5th. Complete Scholastic Open Class finals are as follows:

The next contest for the LPHS Winter Guard will be at the WGI Chicago Regional Championship at Naperville North High School in Naperville, IL on February 24. LaPorte High School will host the Midwest Color Guard Circuit Championships on April 7 and 8.
