La Porte Parks and Rec: Two-Day Sewing Series

Event Information

Join the City of La Porte Park and Recreation Department and the Steady Stitchers, a Purdue Extension Homemakers Club, for a series of two Saturday morning classes. Build on previous sewing skills and create a simple project using quick methods of constructing half-square triangles. Explore the many possibilities of creating quilt designs using this element to create your choice of: tote bag, wall hanging or table runner. Pre-registration is required and can be completed at the Park Office (219-326-9600 or 250 Pine Lake Ave., La Porte) weekdays 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Adults and youth 10-years-old and older are welcome to join.
