The city of Whiting has recently been increasing their visibility across the region, and that's partly all due to their new branding initiative. Though they have pins and signs, the city has also been rejuvenating their downtown district and lakefront area. In order to explain all that Whiting has been doing to put themselves on the map, we talked to Mayor Joe Stahura about their move to becoming a tourist destination in Northwest Indiana.
