Fundraiser to Support Remembrance Project

Join the Michigan City Fire Department at participating Hacienda Mexican Restaurants on September 11th to support the Remembrance Rescue Project. The not-for-profit project was created by firefighters to restore, preserve, and share FDNY's Rescue 4 and Rescue 5 from 9/11 as educational tools, historical artifacts, and memorials.

When accompanied by a token, Hacienda will give back 20% of your bill (food, to-go order, alcohol, gift cards, t-shirt, etc) to the Remembrance Rescue Project. Click here to download Give Back tokens or get yours from members of all area fire departments.
