A community committee of volunteers, along with Purdue University North Central would like to thank the community for stepping up to support this five-day event.

"On behalf on the committee and PNC, I would like to thank the more than 250 volunteers who shared their time to help visitors find the names of their loved ones on the memorials, assisted with parking, transported visitors from the parking lots to the exhibits and so much more. We also very much appreciate those who served as performers, speakers and the color guards. Finally, our gratitude goes out to the members of the American Veterans Traveling Tribute committee who spent countless hours organizing this event," said Melissa Westphal Benefiel, PNC interim director of Advancement and planning committee member.

"This event would not have been possible without our local communities. I thank our communities for all that that was done in support to help bring the American Veteran Traveling Tribute to the PNC campus."
