Game one of the Michigan City Holiday Tournament was canceled due to a power outage at Michigan City High School, and the following two games were moved to Marquette High School. That didn’t deter the athletes though, as they were ready to play in game two. New Prairie took on the Marquette Blazers in a fun, close game. Marquette led 35-28 at the start of the 3rd, but the Cougars never lost hope. Following a 22-point Cougar 4th, New Prairie would complete the comeback. #11 Jayden Flagg led NPHS in scoring with 17. Despite the loss, Marquette’s Laniah Davis led all scorers with 31.
