The New Prairie Cougars lost 37-7 against #4 ranked East Central in Friday’s IHSAA 4A State Championship. This game would be the last in high school for Star running back Noah Mungia. Mungia rushed for more than 1,000 yards in three straight seasons while having 1,920 yards and 25 touchdowns this year. New Prairie was just unable to control East Centrals’ run game as they 395 yards as a whole. The Cougars ended a great season with a 13-2 record and a State Runner-up trophy.
