The Slicers of La Porte traveled to New Prairie to battle the Cougars in tonight’s boys basketball action. The game started close, but Ja’meriyon Cross and the Slicers would pull away to get a 66-37 victory. Cross led all scoring with 16 points followed by Malik Corley who dropped 11 of his own. Rylan Kieszkowski brought excitement for La Porte with huge dunks and athletic plays. The Cougars were led in scoring by Kole Staley who had 11. La Porte moves to 3-1 on the new season and New Prairie to 0-2.
