[Hammond, IN , May 8, 2024] - After an extensive search, the Board of Directors of the South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority (SSCVA) is pleased to announce the selection of Mr. Phil Tallion to serve as new President and CEO. The decision was made unanimously by the board, following careful consideration and evaluation of numerous candidates.
The Executive Committee of the Board will begin contract negotiations with Mr. Taillon in the coming days. A lifelong resident of the region, Phil Tallion brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role. Phil’s track record of success brings instant credibility throughout Northwest Indiana. Having graduated from Bishop Noll and PNW, Phil has demonstrated his commitment to the local community and possesses a deep understanding of its unique needs and potential.

Additionally, he has served in various high-level roles with the city of Hammond for the last 15 years, further showcasing his leadership abilities and dedication to public service.
