The 73rd Annual La Porte Jaycees 4th of July Parade

The final 4^th of July festivity is the 73^rd Annual La Porte Jaycees 4^th of July Parade.  This is Indiana’s largest 4^th of July parade, with annual attendance of around 60,000 people!  And by the governor’s proclamation, La Porte will once again be the State Capital of the Day!  The parade will start at 10 AM on July 4^th and will travel down Lincolnway in La Porte from east to west.  The parade is approximately 2 to 3 hours long and will take place rain or shine.  The theme of this year’s parade was voted on by the community, with Family | Fireworks | Freedom as this year’s winning parade theme!
