Event Information
This one is just for teens (ages 12-16)! Join the City of La Porte Park and Recreation Department and local artist Alayna Bublitz for a six -week wheel throwing session tailored to your teen. Our young potters will receive 4 pounds of clay to create with as Alayna leads them in proper techniques to mold functional pottery pieces on the wheel. Pieces will be fired and be ready for use at home. Pre-registration is necessary and can be completed by calling the Park Office at 219-326-9600 or visiting 250 Pine Lake Avenue, La Porte weekdays 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Class is held in the lower level of the La Porte Civic Auditorium on Wednesdays 4:30-6 p.m.
