Event Information

Sailing4Sight , a 501 C 3 Public Charity, will be providing free eye refractions to check homeless and less fortunate school age children for eyeglasses.

Children should be referred to our event by their school nurses when possible. Otherwise, you may contact the names and numbers listed below. All area schools, public or private, are invited to participate. Once you have been scheduled, please arrive for your appointment 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time. Please notify us ASAP if you need to cancel your time slot so we can work in another child. Our wonderful team of volunteer eye doctors & staff will perform free eye refractions for the children. Sailing4Sight will provide free eyeglasses (contact lenses not included) and gift bags for each participant. If your child needs new eyeglasses, we will provide you with necessary instructions of when and where to return to pick up new eyeglasses. Our events fill up quickly, so please register early. Appointments are set up on a first come first serve basis with limited availability.
