Mayor Thomas M. McDermott, Jr. and Hammond Parks & Recreation present:
Dowling Park Tennis Lessons
Monday through Friday, July 5th to 9th from 10:00 am until 11:30 am.
Registration Fee: $35 for ages 14 and over. Registration deadline is Monday, June 28th.
Here is a peek at what the lessons include:
- Monday - Basic Strokes/Skill Evaluation
- Tuesday - Serving
- Wednesday - Full Court Singles
- Thursday - Full Court Doubles
- Friday - Technique Training
Participants must supply their own racket and water bottle. Tennis balls will be provided for practice time.
We need eight (8) participants minimum to hold the lessons, so register now at the Hammond Sportsplex, 6630 Indianapolis Boulevard. Call (219) 853-7667 with any questions.
