9th Annual Livin’ It Up Festival to benefit Porter County Special Olympics

Event Information

8:25pm - 8:25pm

The 9th Annual Livin’ It Up Music Festival to benefit Porter County Special Olympics takes place on July 14 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Music will be played by Hessville Star (Rock), Hot Rod Heathens (Rock-a-billy, Jazz), Ripley Street (Rock,Blues), Jerica Paliga (Country, Pop), Chris & Lou Band (Beatles, Rock), Funky Mojo Daddy (Blues), and Hugo Colin (50's, 60's, Elvis). All proceeds go to Porter County Special Olympics.

Tickets are only $5 for the event and can be purchased at the gate or at eventbrite.com. Many volunteers also have tickets. Each ticket is good for a free mini-golf game at Zao Island and some great door prizes. Winners do not need to be present, so even if you can’t make it out to listen to some of the premier local musicians, you can still help out a great cause and enter for a chance to win. Thank you to everyone for your continued support. Please share with anyone who may be interested in coming out. For more information contact John King at (219)-309-0070.

Porter County Special Olympics is an all-volunteer organization, and each county has to raise its own funds. We have over 400 athletes that participate in numerous sports. The funds raised go towards expenses such as transportation, uniforms, entry fees, and practice facility rentals. We also do many other activities such as dances and trips to Indiana Beach for our athletes.
