Yale University Forms New Partnership with Marquette Catholic High School

Marquette-CatholicA Student Ambassador from Yale University will be at Marquette Catholic High School on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at 11:45 a.m. He will visit our school to discuss academics, student life, financial aid, and personal experiences associated with the transition to college. During the visit, the Ambassador will stress Yale’s accessibility to students of all backgrounds, Yale’s holistic application process, and the university’s need-based financial aid program, which meets 100% of every student’s financial need without loans.

MQT’s high-achieving sophomores and juniors are invited to meet with the Yale ambassador, Michael Leopold. He hopes to dispel myths about the college application process and reinforce positive choices and actions that help students gain admission to selective colleges.

We are excited to welcome Yale’s ambassador and look forward to learning more about this world-class research university and the opportunities it offers. More information about Yale can be found on their website, www.yale.edu/admissions Interested students are asked to see Mrs. Mark or Mrs. Donnelly this week.
