The Center of Workforce Innovations is looking to hold a Virtual Job Fair in La Porte in mid-April! Using an interactive online platform, businesses will be able to connect to job seekers for employment opportunities. The platform being used is Skype and is easily downloadable for those who do not already have the program.
Employers will be able to interview many applicants via the computer from their own offices. Job seekers will able to submit their resumes to participating businesses and chat with job providers about available positions. The computers used for job seekers will be at the WorkOne office in La Porte, providing participants easy access to further career resources located at the site.
