We are showing a reduction in recidivism by 42% for the 2010 groups in the La Porte County Jail. 22 female inmates cost $25,000 each, per year. 3 years x $25,000 x 22 Women = $1,650,000 of taxpayers’ money saved for the years 2011-2013.
It is difficult to assimilate an absolute number on the collateral cost of our suffering children. Our records show, based on the information the Mothers in our programs are providing to us voluntarily, between 2800-3200 children were affected just last year.

Beginning at 12:01 a.m. through 11:59 p.m. cash prizes are being offered for online giving throughout the day. Various prizes are $1000 each. The prize for the most money raised is $2000.
