Although we've had one of the worst winters in many years, Goodman Plumbing continued to work at our 4800 sq. ft. home. New plumbing pipes are in the basement and both levels. The gas lines are installed and our inspection scheduled; soon NIPSCO will be on the way! Then Stephani Electric will begin!
WE NEED TO OPEN OUR HOME! A young lady fatally overdosed two weekends ago, while three more lives who overdosed were saved within the weekend. What can we do? What will we do?
THE SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROBLEM in La Porte County will go away when we help with positive programs such as the YMCA, Youth Service Bureau, Boys and Girls Club, PATH, CASA, Evolve, Sand Castle Shelter and Grace Learning Center, Stepping Stones, Sports for our youths, Youth Groups, Nursing Homes, etc.
By joining the La Porte County Drug Free Partnership with prevention, intervention, or treatment; Volunteering in schools and Libraries and mentoring;
At home LOCKING UP OUR MEDICINE, Turning in old medicine at drop boxes, tipping the Police Departments if we're suspicious of, encouraging our kids or loved ones, etc.
