Effective Jan. 2, WorkingWell, Franciscan Alliance’s world-renowned Occupational Health program, will expand to three new locations in Porter County, while Franciscan Alliance ExpressCare will branch to two of them.
WorkingWell sites now include 3325 Willowcreek Road and 6615 S. Boundary Road, Portage; and 2590 Morthland Drive, Valparaiso. ExpressCare, which provides immediate treatment for nonemergency cases, will be available in the Willowcreek Road and Morthland Drive offices.
The locations are in recently acquired Franciscan HealtheACCESS Clinics, which are under the auspices of Franciscan St. Anthony Health-Michigan City, and offer a wide range of health services.

Since 2005, WorkingWell has provided occupational health care services for all types of workers, including professional, industrial, police officers and firefighters. WorkingWell also is the world’s first freestanding occupational health provider to receive International Organization of Standardization certification.
WorkingWell also offers Healthy U @ Work, an employer solution program designed to help employees maintain a healthy lifestyle at home and on the job. An innovative holistic wellness program has been added to its suite of wellness services. Some of its employer onsite services include biometric screens, wellness portal, drug screenings and immunizations.
WorkingWell has five other locations in Northwest Indiana and others in Southeast Chicago and near Indianapolis. Services range from employee wellness and education to rehabilitation.
Since 2008, ExpressCare has treated a variety of ailments, including ear infections, flu, colds, fevers, sprains and strains, minor fractures, urinary tract infections, nausea and minor lacerations. Other locations are in Crown Point, Michigan City and Valparaiso.
