The Indiana University Northwest women’s soccer team and head coach Jamie McNicholas have announced the signing of Daisy Bonilla, Brooke Chandler, Jiana Church, Abbigail Cutler, Allison Farmer, Salome Hernandez, Nora Loebbert, Kylie Meegan, Natalie Pacheco, Marisa Paredes, Olivia Oman, Xiomara Santana, Dusty Stoner and Jocelyn Chang-Stroman for the 2024 season.
Bonilla transfers to the RedHawks from CCAC foe Governors State where she started 15 games a freshman. Bonilla scored five goals, fired 31 shots with 16 landing on target in her one season with the Jaguars.
Chandler a Lowell High School graduate helped the Red Devils claim a conference championship. She was named first team all-conference, and off the pitch she was named academic all-league, graduated summa cum laude and was a member of the distinguished honor roll.
Church graduated from Lake Central High School and on the soccer field scored four times and gave seven career assists. The Indians were a section champion but lost in the regional championship game to Crown Point.
Cutler played two seasons for Ancilla College and was named conference freshman first team and second team all-league. She played 16 career games with the Chargers scored eight goals and gave three assists.
Farmer was a three-year varsity student-athlete at Lake Central High School where she scored nine times over her career. She was a two-time scholar athlete and a two-time sectional champion.
Hernandez is a senior transfer from Bethel (Ind.) where the Hammond, Ind., native played in 49 games and earned 11 starts. As a member of the Pilots women’s soccer program Hernandez helped the squad to an NCCAA National Championship in 2023 with a 1-0 win over Southwestern Assemblies of God.
Loebbert plays on the defensive side of the field played and started 32 games for Neosho County Community College. The Panthers last season were ranked as high as 10th in the nation a season ago. NCCC finished the year with a 13-1-3 record with the only loss to Allen County in the conference championship.
Meegan played three seasons of varsity soccer at Munster High School. Meegan helped Munster to a conference championship after finishing the year 6-0 in league play in 2023. Meegan won the teams Golden Boot, and the Hammond, Ind., native scored 23 career goals and gave 16 assists.
Pacheco will have two years of eligibility remaining after playing collegiately at Chicago State, Rock Valley and Aurora. Over her intercollegiate career, the Saint Charles, Ill., native has played 21 games, scored 30 goals and has given six assists.
Paredes returns to IUN after suiting up for the RedHawks during the 2021 season. During that year, the Munster, Ind., native played in 14 games and started 13 times, while also recording an assist at Lincoln Christian.
Oman was the varsity starting goalie at Lakeland High School in LaGrange, Ind. She made 153 saves and started all 17 matches in 2023, while allowing just under two goals per game and posting four shutouts.
Santana is a Bishop Noll graduate where she was named all-conference early in her prep career. She graduated with a Core 40 diploma and on the soccer field helped the team to a sectional final match.
Stoner was a four-year varsity athlete at Lowell High School, where she played outside back and appeared in 44 games. To along with a conference championship, Stoner earned all-conference accolades, MVP honors and graduated manga cum lade.
Chang-Stroman, who plays on the defensive side of the field is a graduate of Crown Point High School. Chang-Stroman graduated from IU and is currently in her second year of medical school and joined the RedHawks this past spring.
