Are You Ready?
Welcome to the 2014-2015 school year. We are off to a wonderful start and I would like to thank students, teachers, staff, parents, and the administrative staff who have made Michigan City High School a great place to be each and every day. • Highest percentage of first time test takers passing the Eng- lish 10 ECA.
• Earning five year accreditation through AdvancED.
• The class of 2014 earning 1.6 million dollars in scholarships.
• Many of our athletic and academic teams competed at the state level.
• ROTC cadets Kayla Orzach and Paul Tobalt receiving the NAVY ROTC (Marine option) Scholarship worth a total $180, 000 each.
• An increase in AP classes offered.

In the most recent data re- leased by the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE), 72.9% of the students who graduated in 2012 qualified as college and career...click here to read more!
