The Northwest ISBDC is teaming with Anna Sheets of Accounting Made Simple to offer a two-part workshop on QuickBooks essentials in January and February. The sessions are from 9 a.m. to noon Fridays Jan. 24 and 31 as well as 9 a.m. to noon Fridays Feb. 21 and 28 both at the Purdue University North Central Graduate Building, 600 Vale Park Road, in Room 20.
The workshops for new users will outline core bookkeeping functions including: accounting primer, getting started, navigating QuickBooks, managing lists, working with bank accounts, recording sales, receiving payments, making deposits and entering and paying bills. Participants receive class materials and instructor follow-up as well as a certificate of completion. The fee is $100 for the two-part workshop. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required as there is limited seating.
