The Social and Learning Institute is a local not-for-profit organization that provides social and prevocational training for developmentally handicapped adults in Michigan City and La Porte County. It is our mission to provide these special individuals with the training and encouragement to achieve self-realization and the ability to contribute to society and the local economy.
