Wild Wings Supports Boys & Girls Club of Michigan City

BWW-Supports-MC-BGC-02-05-15The Boys and Girls Club of Michigan City recently received a donation of $1,551 from Buffalo Wild Wings of Michigan City. Restaurant Manager Sean Shaia presented the donation to Boys and Girls Club Board Members Linda Bechinski, Nursing Director for the Michigan City Area Schools, and Dr. Rex Morrow, Purdue University North Central.

The Boys and Girls Club is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing constructive after-school learning programs for school-age children and teens. It provides mentoring, tutoring, character development, and recreational activities for student club members. The Club operates at Pine and Springfield Elementary Schools and at the Charles Westcott Center on 9th Street in downtown Michigan City. This club is an affiliate chapter of the National Boys and Girls Clubs of America.

As a charitable organization, the Boys and Girls Club depends on grants and donations from the community, including businesses such as Buffalo Wild Wings. Donations are used for operational costs, including educational services and resources for inner city children.

Buffalo Wild Wings will support the Club again later this month, when it holds an "eat wings raise funds" give back on February 25th. A percentage of all sales from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on that evening will support the Boys and Girls Club.
