Residents living on West 10th Street between Willard and Sheridan avenues are being asked to place their recycling bins on nearby cross streets for collection until construction on the South Shore railroad is completed.
West 10th Street is currently closed in that area, so recycling trucks are not able to service it. It is not safe for our drivers to operate their vehicles or walk into the construction zone to collect recycling.
The South Shore project should be finished by the end of August, so this should affect only one or two more recycling collections. All cross streets along this portion of West 10th Street can be used for recycling collection: Hayes, Greeley, Hancock, Seymour, Douglas, and Grant avenues, Donnelly Street and Carlon Court.
