This past weekend all the ghouls, princesses, and everything in between came out in NWIndiana.
First it was cross country semi-state and we have reason to be proud! La Porte’s Elena Lancioni took first and Anthony Didion took second. Valpo, Crown Point, Munster, and Lake Central took honors in the boys division and La Porte, Portage, and Lake Central in the girls.
Lake Central and Crown Point battled in sectionals and Lake Central won 9-6.
Chesterton stole the sectional game from Valpo with a score of 31-3.
Valpo’s Culver’s held a Halloween celebration for kids with food, crafts, costumes, and a visit from Scoopie!
Everyone from Darth Vader to a Blackhawks player showed up for the Inaugural Monster Dash in Valpo. Both families and runners enjoyed the 1k and 5k events.
3000 visitors came out to downtown Valpo for the annual Fall Harvest Fest, families paraded down the street stopping at businesses for a sweet treat
The 2nd annual Wines of Northwest Indiana got adults dressing up in their Halloween best to benefit the Stepping Stone Shelter for Women.
Chesterton had a spooktacular time at their Downtown Trick-or-Treat, where candy was doled out to all of the little monsters of the city.
Michigan City’s Main Street Association’s Flame & Flair event took Halloween to the next level with, fun, bed races, and FIRE!
There is no better fall spot then an orchard, and County Line Orchard hosted their trick-or-treat event.
The La Porte YMCA had tricks and treats this weekend! They hosted their Family Fun Halloween night and had a spooky haunted trail!
