Beginning at 6 am on Saturday, August 25, Porter Hospital at 814 LaPorte Ave in Valparaiso will be relocating to the new Porter Regional Hospital at 85 East US Highway 6 in Valparaiso, at the corner of US 6 and IN 49.
At that time, the Emergency Department will be officially closed and area ambulance services have been instructed to take patients to the new Porter Regional Hospital.
At 6 am, on Saturday, August 25, the new Porter Regional Hospital will be fully operational and begin accepting patients. If you have an emergency after 6 am on Saturday, August 25, please go to the new Porter Regional Hospital.
