The La Porte Park and Recreation Department is looking for volunteers to help with the Run For Our Parks 10K/5K on Saturday, Oct. 12, in Soldiers Memorial Park.
The event starts at 9 a.m. and should be concluded by 10:30. Volunteers are needed to patrol intersections, distribute water, shout out split times and other essential race duties.
