Volleyball Victorious, Boys Soccer Falls for MCHS

JV won 25-12, 16-25, 15-2 and everyone played well.

Varsity won 26-28, 25-12,25-17, 25-10
Camille Burnett had 23 assists, 10 service aces

Zoya Ganz had 13 kills, 3 service aces
Sabrina Brown had 13 kills, 3 service aces and 2 solo blocks
Haley Mellen had 6 digs and 3 service aces
Grace Connelly had 2 service aces 1 dig
Arianne Gatzka had 2 service aces

 

Boys Soccer
The Marquette Catholic Boys Soccer had a dominating first half and a sub par second half which ultimately cost them a win against the East Chicago Central Cardinals tonight. The Blazers came out on fire, scoring 3 goals within the irst 20 minutes and taking a 3-0 halftime lead. The Cardinals came back in the second half scoring four straight goals of there own. Teams then traded a goal a piece. The Blazers fought back valiantly, but in the end it wasn't enough as the lost 4-5. The Blazers will return to action Saturday as the host South Bend Washington at the Marquette Athletic Complex for an 11:00 start.

The Blazer JV and Varsity volleyball teams both picked up a road win tonight at Oregon Davis. More details will follow.
