“two red chairs” Opens at Southern Shore Art Association Gallery, September 6

two-red-chairs“two red chairs” is the intersection of the varied work of two artists. Richard Pociask, is an award winning artist who develops his vision through the use of various mediums and techniques, including graphite, charcoal and oil pastels. The other, M.T. Carey, is a photographer, who uses black & white images to express her vision. Both artists use simple subjects, clean lines, and repetitive patterns to achieve their desired effect.

These two works of art will be featured, along with various other work, during the September show which will open with a free refreshments/snacks reception on Friday, September 6 from 5-8pm in conjunction with Michigan City’s “First Friday” celebration in the historic Uptown Arts District.
