Safe Harbor’s Michigan City Robotics team and Project Lead the Way engineering students and teachers are using 3D printers to make face shields for hospitals in LaPorte and Starke county.
Students are able to make 5 shields per day on each of the 16 3-D printers.
The transparency sheets will clip into the devices that they are making.
To maximize shield making efforts, we are reaching out to anyone who has any transparency sheets to donate.
