The DeMotte Chamber of Commerce is currently seeking food and craft vendors for the annual Touch of Dutch festival. The festival is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 9, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Spencer Park.
According to Diva Rish, executive director of the DeMotte Chamber of Commerce, the Touch of Dutch Festival is a family-friendly event. In addition to craft and food vendors, attendees can also expect live entertainment, the Rotary Ramble 5K, kids’ entertainment, the Touch of Dutch parade and a car show.
The DeMotte Chamber of Commerce will be raffling off Dutch Dollars throughout the festival to be used at vendors. Dutch Dollars will be given in $5 increments, and vendors will be reimbursed the full amount of Dutch Dollars used at their booth.
“Food vendors will also be invited to stay for the free concerts from 5-9 p.m. at no extra cost to serve concert-goers,” explained Rish. Deadline to register as a vendor is July 26.
Those interested in participating in the parade may also contact the chamber to apply. Parade applications are due August 1.
Interested vendors and parade participants can visit demottechamber.org or call the chamber office at 219-987-5800 for applications. For more information, email email@example.com or contact Diva Rish at 219-405-6840.
