EDCMC Great Lake Grand Prix Opening Night 2022
An exciting ribbon cutting, celebratory champagne toast, and fun opening night kicked off Thursday at Sunset Grille to ring in this year’s Play Tradez Great Lakes Grand Prix. Michigan City is hosting its 13th annual Grand Prix along with an itinerary of events spanning until August 7 for an estimated number of 150,000 racers and spectators alike.
Purdue University Northwest Spring Commencement 2022
Purdue University Northwest (PNW) celebrated its spring 2022 commencement on May 15 at the Hammond campus. The graduating class consisted of 976 candidates which included 856 who earned baccalaureate degrees and 120 who earned Master’s degrees. The 976 candidates represented PNW’s five academic colleges: Business, Engineering and Sciences; Humanities, Education and Social Sciences; Nursing; and Technology.

On senior night, the Valparaiso Vikings looked to defend home court against the visiting La Porte Slicers. Mason Jones led the way for Valpo scoring 19 points in the Vikings 57-47 victory. Kyle Kirkham led La Porte with 16 points.
