Come out to Michigan City and celebrate a month of Peace in the City. On June 2, from 4-8pm at Washington Park in Michigan City, P.A.V.E. (People Against Violence Everywhere) will be hosting a party for a good cause.
The party is meant to be an informative and fun event that raises awareness of violence prevention. It is free and open to the public. Multiple organizations will be there to help kids get more involved in their community. There will be food, games, music and information on other events taking place this summer that kids and their families can take part in.
P.A.V.E. is a community organization that aims to make the schools and neighborhoods of the community safer. They have partnered with youth serving organizations that help kids engage in more positive activities throughout the year.
