The Salvation Army of Michigan City to Host 2015 World Day of Prayer

LCL-Inside-ArticleOn Sunday, March 1, 2015 denominations across town will have an opportunity to join together to participate in the World Day of Prayer hosted by Lieutenant Taylor Brutto of the Michigan City Salvation Army.

The World Day of Prayer is a global movement for Christian Women to practice “Informed Prayer & Prayerful Action”; this year the focus will be on the Bahamas to promote justice and equality for women through prayer, partnerships, service and celebration.

Congregations from 25 different churches in Michigan City and the entire Michigan City community are invited to gather at The Salvation Army located at 1201 S. Franklin Street where they will participate in the World Day of Prayer Service fellowship following.

This is an opportunity to gather as the body of Christ to pray and worship together. It is an awesome thing when 25 churches gather to worship Jesus!” says Brutto.

All are welcome to join in the celebration. The event will begin at 2:00 Sunday in The Salvation Army chapel.
