'The Grace Players' have returned to the Footlight Theatre stage to present their final 'Alice' Show, entitled Alice goes to Heaven. Alice, a simple lady, finds herself amidst popular performers in a setting presented as a musical revue. Previous shows include Alice in Broadway Land, Alice Goes to Dolly Wood,Alice joins the USO, and Alice in Imaginary Land and were presented at the former Grace Church. The revues are conceived, written, and directed by Laura and Lee Meyer. In Alice Goes to Heaven Alice has just passed away and as she approaches St. Peter at the gate of heaven learns that she must find the ‘lost chord’ before being allowed to enter the gate. Various well known performers are already in heaven and appear as Elvis, Ethel Merman and others so maybe she can find the lost chord.
Alice will be portrayed by Diana Hirsh and her sister Jeanette played by Penny Russell who is already in heaven and meets Alice at the gate and tries to help her to find her lost chord. Other performers portraying VIPs in heaven are Howard Brenneman, Noel Carlson, Kathy Chase, Alice Dickey, Lance
