This year's adult division features hometown heartbreakers and undercover rivals - Jenny Hartson and Sarah Gorecki; Disney Dreamers Academy Champion Ambassador (one of only five in the nation) - Taylor Carter; country boy and Blueberry Festival Karaoke champ - Brandon Dickson; rocker chick/front-woman for the band, Nawty - Mandalyn Early; and composer, musical production coach and mind-blowing operatic singer - Delshawn Taylor.
The youth division is equally diverse in its vocal selections and contestants. Bright and talented, Hoosier STAR's six youth contestants include the outgoing vocalist, thespian, and National Honor Society member - Sandy Akers; soul singer and honor roll student - Marcos Buslon; online editor-in-chief of her high school's newspaper and advocate for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - Madeline Conley; vice-president of her high school class and member of the prestigious Indiana Circle of State Honor Choir - Madison Michael; athlete and 4th grade honor roll student - Abigail Tomblin; and bubbly actress and dancer - Megan Scutchfield.
Contestants will sing their hearts out in their respective divisions for the chance to win your vote and receive a $1000 first place adult prize or $500 first place youth prize and the title of Hoosier STAR winner!
