The 3rd Annual Taste of La Porte, held at the Chamber Square, 803 Washington Street in downtown La Porte will be Saturday, August 23 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. This year we will showcase some of La Porte’s finest establishments and visitors will enjoy tastes from a variety of cuisines and live entertainment.
The Taste of La Porte begins at 3 p.m. and will have tastes from local La Porte restaurants such as Albano’s Villa, Spire Restaurant, Seven, Cookery Tried & True, Sacred Heart Country Kitchen and more! A beer garden will be provided by Dick’s Bar. Live entertainment kicks off with local favorite Jim Post from 3-4:30 p.m., followed by the mighty duo of Dan Moore and Johnny V from 5pm to 6:30 p.m., and headliners Junior and the Igniters capping off the evening from 7 to 9 pm. To add to the festivities, Stepping Stone Shelter will have a dunk tank, Ignite Body Art will be painting faces of all ages, and Bump N’ Jump playhouses will have several bounce houses for the kids.
