October is Domestic Violence Awareness month, and The Stepping Stone Shelter for Women, Inc. will be hosting a Wine and Beer Festival and silent auction on Friday, October 24th from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City, IN. The event will include wine and beer tasting, appetizers, and live rock music brought to you by “The Rockaholics.” Halloween costumes are encouraged!
Tickets are available either at the door or online at www.steppingstoneshelter.org/events for $50 a person. Tables of 10 and sponsorships are still available. Proceeds from the festival will benefit the Stepping Stone Shelter for Women. Please join us for this exciting event and help support a worthy cause!

Stepping Stone has helped numerous women recover from abuse since they opened in Michigan City in 1983. None of this would be possible without the help of donations from the community and volunteers.
