The Michigan City Fire Department wants to remind everyone that auxiliary heating devices can be very dangerous. Keep all flammable materials (clothing, paper, furniture etc…) at least feet three away from any heating device.

REMINDER: The 2013 Fire Inspection Billing Statements are being mailed in accordance with Ordinance 4209 Sec. 50-283 to local businesses. This billing is for the year 2013 and the businesses will not incur any other billing related to the fire department inspections until the calendar year 2014.
