The Rev. Anthony Janik, director of spiritual services at Franciscan St. Anthony Health-Crown Point, blesses with holy water one of many rooms in a newly opened Franciscan Physician Network Crown Point Specialty Health Center, which is located in the Burrell Professional Building (Suite 201), during a celebration Aug. 19 that included hospital officials, staff and supporters.
The center will house cardiology, palliative care and hospitalist physician and staff services. “This facility will provide an easy and convenient location for our patents, who are number one to us,” said Barb Anderson, hospital president, adding, “It will house a new cardiologist group that has joined our staff, as well as services for those in need of palliative care, and our growing hospitalist staff.” The facility also has room for expansion for other services in the future, she said.
