The Southern Shore Art Association's Camera Club is announcing the WINNERS of The Second Annual SSAACC Photography Show "THE BEST OF 2013"
Photographer Judge Anthony Bass assigned the following prizes:
Best of Show: Gloria Newcomb for "Montana Morning". She received the $100 Paul Dunne Award.
1st runner-up: Mike Konieczny for "Wynton Marsalis"
2nd runner-up: Rhonda Mullen for "Sunset Curl"
3rd runner-up: Mary Schultz for "Atlantean: Return of the Gods"
On Opening Night First Friday the 1st of November the public was asked to voice their appreciation in a "People's Choice Event" and cast their vote for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place.
1st People's Choice Award: Rhonda Mullen for "Sunset Curl"
2nd People's Choice Award : April Dillingham for "Against the Wind"
3rd People's Choice Award: Jacqi Euler for "The Old Lighthouse"
You can still admire the photographs during the Camera Club's Special Photo Booth Event on Saturday November 23rd from 1-3pm: SSAA's Camera Club is offering free photo booth pictures to the public. Pose for pictures with a variety of props, or show your own creative side! Access your free photos on line. They're yours to use as you wish. Just leave your email address with us.
"THE BEST OF 2013" will run through Sunday, December 1 at the Southern Shore Art Association Gallery, 724 Franklin Street, Michigan City. Gallery open hours are Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 12-5pm (CST).
