Springfield Inducts 16 in Elementary Honor Society

Springfield-National-Honor-Society-InductionOn Wednesday, April 17, 16 students were inducted into the Springfield Chapter of the National Elementary Honor Society, joining 17 fourth and fifth graders who were inducted last year. Michigan City Mayor Ron Meer was the featured speaker at this year's induction, which included a special candle lighting ceremony.

Springfield's Honor Society is chosen from among students in grades 3-5 who have two semesters of a 3.4 or higher GPA and have demonstrated excellent citizenship skills.

New inductees are: (Back Row - Left to Right): Lukas Fugate, Dylan Kellogg, Carey-Rose Tharp, Shelley Miller, Jr., Jackson Turley, Jackson White, Paris Taylor, Juliann Pyplatz. (Front Row - Left to Right) Logan Alcott, Racion Anderson, Caleb Austin, Stephanie Carter, Nicholas Cicero, Sierra Dabney, Noah Novitske, Aleigha Kellogg

New inductees joined current members Ramadii Anderson, Robbie Banks, Kristen Dolph, Morgan Edwards, Chris Gault, Haley Grochowski, Julian Hill, Samantha Jasinski, Savannah Lowe, Aaron O'Shea-Valdez, Matt Roach, Braden Tepper, Jaden Turley, Jada Vittatoe, Nana Wade, Bohdan Walker, and Grant Wyness.
