Four Marquette Catholic teams competed on Monday. Baseball, softball and boys golf all hosted while girls tennis travelled to Wheeler. Baseball hosted Westville, but were unable to secure a victory as they lost 6-3. Bryce Freels took the loss for the Blazers going 7 innings and giving up 6 runs on 3 hits while striking out 3 and walking 3. Offensively, the Blazers wee led by Parker Buell who went 2-4 with a double and an RBi and William Connelly who went 2-3 with a double and an RBI. Baseball returns to action Tuesday, May 7 when they host Wheeler. FIrst pitch is scheduled for 4:30.

Girls tennis won 4-1 and moved within one game of clinching the conference championship. The Blazers look to capture the crown when they travel to Whiting Tuesday for a 5:00 matchup.
Boys golf beat Westville and South Central 161 to 203 and 205 respectively. The Blazers were led by Jack Clancy who shot at 1 over par. The golf team returns to action on Wednesday, May 8 when they host Michigan CIty starting at 4:30.
