Southern Shore Art Association has sent out a call for artists’ submissions for their March annual “women as subject” exhibition with the opportunity for a cash reward for exhibitors.
This is the fourth year this show has been open to member artists and guest artists, both male and female, from the region. The exhibition titled “LA FEMME: The Female in Image and Form” will feature multi media artworks including painting, photography and sculpture. This will be the fourth annual show with this theme. Our partnership has made it possible to grant a $200 cash gift to one of the participating artists. Judi Jacobi, PNC Vice Chancellor and generator of the campus’s distinguished collection of sculpture and fine art, will be the judge for the award which is titled “Harbour Trust Art Award,” said Susan Block, Chair of the exhibition.
