The South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority will be hosting its annual Tourism Week Luncheon on Wednesday, May 6, at the Indiana Welcome Center. Registration for the event begins at 11:30 a.m. and the luncheon will begin at 11:45 a.m. Tickets cost $35 per person or $300 for a table of 10. RSVPs are requested by Thursday, April 29.
Roger Dow, president and CEO of the U.S. Travel Association, will be the keynote speaker at this year’s event.
Dow has served in his current position since 2005. Prior to his position with U.S. Travel, Dow served in various positions at Marriott International in a career that spanned 34 years. In his position as president and CEO of U.S. Travel, Dow was instrumental in leading the industry-wide movement that led to the adoption of the bipartisan Travel Promotion Act, which established Brand USA, a highly effective communications and promotion program that attracts more international visitors to the United States.
