South Shore CVA Releases 2014-2015 Visitor’s Guide

lakemichiganThe South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority has recently released their 2014-2015 Visitor’s Guide. The guide features information on festivals, attractions, restaurants, shopping, accommodations, parks and visitor services as well as a Chicago and Northwest Indiana Map.

According to Speros A. Batistatos, president and CEO of the South Shore CVA, the guide offers residents and guests a comprehensive overview of the South Shore.

“The Visitor’s Guide highlights many fun attractions, festivals and events, hotels and restaurants that are available in the region,” said Batistatos. “If a visitor is interested in camping and outdoor activities, or attractions and restaurants, they’ll find an abundance of information in the guide.”

Based on partner feedback, the South Shore CVA opted to create a format that was more user-friendly. The previous layout, a fold-out map, left little room for additions. With the new Visitor’s Guide, South Shore CVA was able to add numerous photos and more content.

The Visitor’s Guide is a partnership benefit and is released each year in May. Other partnership opportunities include extended web listings, quarterly rack cards, networking events, general co-op advertisements, general promotion and more.
