South Shore Clean Cities to Host 2013 Annual Meeting On February 12, 2013

sscc-iSouth Shore Clean Cities Inc., a nonprofit organization sponsored through a U.S. Department of Energy program, will hold its 2013 annual meeting Feb. 12 to recognize Northern Indiana organizations promoting clean vehicle technologies and alternative fuels.

Carl Lisek, executive director of South Shore Clean Cities, said the meeting will include several breakout sessions.

"The agenda includes sessions to discuss compressed and liquid natural gas vehicle conversions, propane vehicle conversions, electric vehicles, the Northern Indiana Planning Commission's Green Fleets program and more," he said. "There also will be a year in review presentation and an awards ceremony."

The meeting will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. CST Feb. 12 at Avalon Manor Banquet Center, 3550 E. U.S. 30, Merrillville, Ind.
