South Central 7th grader Riley Shawn has been selected Student of the Month for May. Riley is the son of Greg and Jillian Shawn of Wanatah. He was selected by teacher Wendy Walter. Mrs. Walter said the following about Riley: Riley always gives 100%; he never gives up and is a VERY hard worker. Riley is a friend to everyone and is a very caring young man.
The Student of the Month program recognizes young people at South Central who are role models, leaders, and dedicated and conscientious students. Our selected students are motivated leaders and role models for the school and community, set a positive example by word, deed, and appearance, have a positive attitude, and set a positive example for academic achievement in classroom studies.
