Slicers’ Boys Soccer Team Shuts Out Plymouth on Saturday

Soccer-ball-grassThe La Porte High School boys soccer team improved their record to 2-1-1 (1-1) on the season with a 6-0 victory over Plymouth on Saturday.

Tyler Kuzdas led the Slicers with two goals, while Jacob Lindsey recorded a goal and a save. Michael Gadzick, Josh Aaron and Jon Aaron each scored a goal in the match as well. Goalie Carter Huber notched three saves for La Porte.

The Slicers’ junior varsity team also came away with a win over Plymouth on Saturday b. Chase Ruize scored two goals, while Alberto Salas scored a goal and contributed an assist for La Porte. Eric Oscarson and Nick Applegarth also each scored a goal.
